The oil level probes (left & right-see photo at left) monitor the
oil level by temperature differences. If they becomes disabled,
the display shows: “E-18A”= left probe; “E18-B”= right probe;
“E18C”= both.
Also, if any of the probes are out of calibration more than
10°F, or 10°C, the temperature probe should be replaced. (See
Section 5-4. TECH MODE for probe calibration steps.) An
Ohm check can be performed also. See chart below.

To avoid electrical shock or property damage, move
the power switch to OFF and disconnect main circuit
breaker, or unplug cord at wall receptacle.
1. Remove control panel and hinge it down.
2. Refering to the decal on the rear of the control panel, locate
the 12-pin probe connector in the upper, right-hand corner.
(An ohm chart is also shown on the decal.)
3. Pull the connector from the panel and using a multmeter,
take an ohm reading on the appropriate Level Probe pins.
