(b) Front brake cable (A) on “F” side
Adjustment
The distance, the front brake lever (1) and
integrated brake pedal (2) moves before each
brake starts to engage is called free play (3).
Ÿ Push the integrated brake arm (4) by hand
in the direction as shown.
Ÿ Turn the first adjuster nut (5) till you cannot
turn it by hand.

(i) Decrease free play (ii) Increase free play
Ÿ Check the free play of front brake lever.
Adjustment
Ÿ Turn the second adjuster nut (6) until a gap
is created between joint (7) and the slot on
the first side in integrated brake arm.
(c) Integrated brake cable (B) on “C” side
FREE PLAY: 10-20 mm
Ÿ If the free play is out specification turn the
adjuster nut to obtain desired free play.
Ÿ Push the integrated brake arm (4) by hand
in the direction as shown.

Check the free play of rear brake pedal.

If the free play is out specification turn the
adjuster nut to obtain desired free play.
FREE PLAY: 20-30 mm
•
After ensuring the gap, turn the second
adjuster nut counterclockwise by half
rotation.

“F” & “C” is marked on integrated brake arm.

Free play (2) should be 20-30 mm.
(d) Rear brake inspection
Adjustment
•
Park the vehicle on its main stand.
•
Measure the brake pedal (1) free play
before the brake starts to take hold.
