8 - 4 Changing a filter insert
A clean hydraulic system gives better operating economy.
The oil filter insert should therefore be changed for the first
time after 50 running hours and from then on every 500
running hours, subject to a minimum of at least two changes
a year.
For best results, always fit a genuine Hiab insert.
Replacing the return oil filter insert
z Clean the immediate surroundings of the return filter.
z Turn the cover ① to free it while pressing on it
z Pull the return filter out of the oil tank
z Remove the filter insert ③
z Insert a new filter insert
z Fit new sealing rings ②,④
z Replace the return filter in the tank
z Attach the cover on the return filter
