Steps
1. Go to
Conguraon → Camera → Camera → IP Camera .
2. Click Online Device. The online cameras in the same network segment with your video recorder
will be displayed in the camera list. The Security column shows whether the network camera is
acve.

3. Check an inacve network camera and click Acvate.

4. Choose one of the following methods to set camera password.

Use video recorder password: Check Use Channel Default Password to acvate the camera
using the set channel default password.

Customize password: Enter the same password in Password and
Conrm.
Warning
Strong Password recommended-We highly recommend you create a strong password of your
own choosing (Using a minimum of 8 characters, including at least three of the following
categories: upper case leers, lower case leers, numbers, and special characters.) in order to
