5.1 When ALARM or SHUTDOWN is Displayed
5.1.1
ALARM Light Blinking
(The
HI
SCREW keeps operating.)
Alarm is given (Ex.: Temperature sensor detects
high discharge air temperature of the compressor.).
The
ALARM
light blinks. The digital monitor dis-
plays the discharge air temperature.
Remove the causes of alarm.
(Refer to pages 24 through 25 “SHUTDOWN/
ALARM Indications on the Instrument Panel” for
countermeasures.)
5.1.2
SHUTDOWN Light Blinking
(The
HI
SCREW stops operating.)
Shutdown happens (Ex: Temperature sensor detects
excessive in the discharge air temperature of the
compressor.)

The
SHUTDOWN
light blinks. The digital monitor
displays the discharge air temperature.
Remove the causes of shutdown.
(Refer to pages 24 through 25
“SHUTDOWN/
ALARM Indications on the Instrument Panel”
for
countermeasures.
Press the
RESET
button.
The
SHUTDOWN
light becomes off.
5.1.3
When SHUTDOWN code is dis-
played on the digital monitor
The
ALARM
or

light blinks. Take the
similar actions as above.

The unit memorizes six items of shutdown history with dif-
ferent shutdown code. Press SELECT button 8 times and
check E0.XX – E5.XX contents.
see p. 10 for this operation.
Procedure to reset ALARM and SHUTDOWN depends on
what brought the ALARM or SHUTDOWN.
(See Reset Procedure in pages 24 through 25 “SHUTDOWN/
ALARM Indications on the Instrument Panel”)
IMPORTANT
CAUTION
In case where ALARM is given or a SHUTDOWN happens, remove its causes before restart the unit.
Ask your dealer or your nearest Hitachi regional office if you have any question or unclear point.
