Record the operation status of the day in OPERATION
RECORD LOGBOOK (
see p. 66-67). Maintenance
must be carried out if checked values show excess over
allowable criteria.
The oil temperature control valve controls the oil tem-
perature and thus prevents the condensate from being
produced in the oil separator under the normal operat-
ing conditions.
Under the following operating conditions, however, the
condensate may be produced in the oil separator tank.
1. The ambient temperature and relative humidity is
as high as:
30°C and more than 80% and
40°C and more than 50%
2.The
SCREW stops and restarts repeatedly.
3.The oil cooler cools the oil excessively.
If this is the case, open the oil drain port valve and
check if the condensate comes out. Drain the conden-
sate as required.
4.1 Daily Operation Management
4.2 Control of Condensate
If the condensate is not discriminable from the lubricant,
check its viscosity by your finger tips while draining. Be
sure the condensate is well cooled before touching it. If
the condensate sticks to your fingers, the lubricant is
coming out.
Draining the Condensate before Starting
the
① After making sure the compressor has stopped run-
ning, open the front door and make sure the oil sep-
arator tank internal pressure gauge reads 0 MPa.
② Remove the plug with the oil drain port valve shut.
③ Attach a pipe with screw diameter 1/2 inch about
150 mm long to the drain port valve and place an oil
pan furnished by user beneath the opening of the
pipe.
④ Open the oil drain port valve.
⑤ The oil comes out and the condensate follows.
⑥ When the oil starts to come out again, close and
plug the oil drain port valve.

IMPORTANT
1. Before check and maintenance of the compressor, carefully read “TO USE IN SAFETY” ( see p.2) again.
2. Be sure to disconect the power when check or maintenance is carried out. Then, make sure the fan
inverter’s charge lamp and the DCBL controller’s charge lamp, goes off after about 10 minutes elapse.
WARNING
● Running the compressor for long time with-
out draining may cause not only troubles to
the Rotor and Bearings in its air end, but
other major troubles like rusting inside
equipments.
● Do not open the oil-draining valve when the
SCREW is operating. Otherwise the hot oil
gushes out and you may be injured or burnt.
