Appendix G: Port address mapping
Port address mapping
Each Fibre Channel port has a default port address (AL_PA) of EF. You do not have to
change this value because the storage system port can connect to the host bus adapter
(HBA) with the current setting.
If you want to change the AL_PA value, however, select a value from the following table.
If you use a value that is not in the following table or is already used by the HBA, the host
might not be able to recognize the VOL. If this problem or other problems occur, revert to the
default value of
EF.
