CDA3-35 User’s Guide
3.4 The DOCSIS Event Screen
Use this screen to discover information about:
The nature of the upstream and downstream connection between the CDA3-35
and the device to which it is connected through the CABLE interface.

IP details of the CDA3-35’s WAN connection.
Click Status > DOCSIS Event. The following screen displays.
Upstream Overview
NOTE: The upstream signal is the signal transmitted from the CDA3-35.
Port ID This displays the ID number of the upstream
connection’s port.
Frequency (MHz) This displays the actual frequency in Megahertz (MHz)
of each upstream data channel to which the CDA3-35 is
connected.
Modulation This displays the type of modulation that each upstream
channel uses.
Signal Strength
(dBmV)
This displays the power of the signal of each upstream
data channel to which the CDA3-35 is connected, in
dBmV (decibels above/below 1 millivolt).
Signal Noise Ratio
(dB)
This displays the Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) of each
upstream data channel to which the CDA3-35 is
connected, in dB (decibels).
Channel ID This displays the ID number of each channel on which
the upstream signal is transmitted.
