AGM-batteriesrequirenomaintenance,butmustbecontinuo-
usly recharged.
• Checkthatthebatteryclampsaresecureandremoveanylayers
of oxide.
• Ifthebatteryisnotusedforalongerperiodoftime(eweeksor
more)press thepushbutton(seepage87).Thestandbycurrent
usedcontinuouslybysomeelectricaldevicesdischargesthebat-
tery.Evenifthemainswitchonthecontrolpanelhasbeenswit-
chedo,thebatterycanstillbechargedbythebatterycharger.
• Ifthebatteryhasbeenremoved,isolatethepositivepole(topre-
ventshortcircuits).
