Takeatrialdrivebeforeleavingonyourrstlargejourneyin
ordertofamiliarizeyourselfwiththevan.Remembertopractise
reversing.Thebasevehicleisacommercialvehicle;adjustyour
driving style accordingly.
The following applies for driving:

Donotunderestimatethelengthandwidthofthevan.
Dueto
the relatively long rear overhang larger vehicles can veer to
one side and, in unfavourable conditions, the rear can hit
the ground.
• Becarefulwhendrivingintoinnercourtyardsandthrough
entrance gates.
• Thevanmaystarttoswingfromsidetosideincross-winds,
onwetoricyroads.
• Ifthevanstartstoswing,stepcarefullybutrmlyonthebrake
to stabilise the vehicle.

Your van is not an automobile!
Inmanysituations,itreactsverydierentlytoa“normal“au-
tomobile.Therefore,youshouldbepreparedforthefollowing
dierences:

The following applies while driving:
• Onlythoseseatsequippedwithsafetybeltsmaybeusedby
passengers.
• Peoplemaynotbelyinginthebedswhiledriving.
• Passengersmustremainintheirseatswiththeirseatbelton!
• Onlyinstallchildren'scarseatsonseatsthathavebeen
ttedbythemanufacturerwiththree-pointbelts.
•Turntheswivelseatsinthedirectionoftracandlockthem
intoplace.Theseatsmaynotbeturnedwhiledriving.
• Locktheslidingseat*intoitsoriginalposition.
• Donotopenthedoorlatch!
• Noextrapassengersmayremaininthevehicle!
