Downhaul
Mainsheet
Locate the downhaul line. Tie it
to the sail “tack” grommet near
the mast (when finished sailing,
leave it tied here). Pass the line
down and through the center of
the cleat mounted in the luff track
of the mast. Run the line up to and
through the “tack” grommet. Run
the line back down to the cleat.
Tension it and then tie to the cleat.
Hook the mainsheet to the “clew”
grommet at the rear of the sail.
