install the the metal lathe onto a solid,
vibration-resistent workbench.

The work with a metal lathe always con-
tains a certain risk that can never be eli-
minated entirely. This is a non comple-
te shortlist indicating some of the most
dangerous remaining residual risks:
Risk of personal injury due to coming into
contact with the rotating workpiece or
rotating chuck.
Risk of personal injury through chips -
wear safety goggles.
Risk of electrocution when touching lea-
ding machine components.
Risk of personal injury by touching sharp
workpiece edges.
You can minimize these residual risks by
following all security, maintenance and
operation rules.
