  If the overheat warning system activates, it could be due to several reasons. First, check if the cooling water intake port is clogged and clean it if necessary. Another possible cause is a shortage of engine oil; add engine oil to the specified level. Also, the spark plugs might have an improper heat range, in which case you should replace them.
