16. Troubleshooting
Problem
Possible Reasons & Solutions
Cannot connect to Device
Configurator
Reasons: Bluetooth not open.
Password error.
Old version of Device Configurator.
Solutions: Enable Bluetooth in the mobile phone.
Contact authorized service center.
Update Device Configurator software.
Find the Bluetooth from the mobile phone
setting, and delete it. Then re-establish the
link with the instrument.
Cannot turn on power after
charging the battery
Reasons: Defective charging circuit. Defective battery.
Solutions: Try charging the battery again.
Call authorized service center.
Lost password
Solutions: Call Technical Support
Buzzer, LED lights
inoperative
Reasons: Buzzer disabled.
Bad buzzer or LED light.
Solutions: Check LCD if the “buzzer disabled” icon
blinks. Use Device Configurator App to set
Buzzer and Light All On.
Contact authorized service center.
“Lamp” message when
power on.
Lamp alarm.
Reasons: Low ion concentration inside PID lamp,
especially in cold environment when first
powered on.
Defective PID lamp or defective circuit.
Solutions: Turn the unit off and back on. Replace UV
lamp.
Pump failed message.
Pump alarm.
Reasons: Inlet probe blocked.
Direct connection to a gas outlet while the
gas valve is turned off.
External filter sucks in water.
External filter too dirty.
Water condensed along the inlet probe.
Bad pump or pump circuit.
Solutions: Remove the blocking objects and then
press the button to reset the pump alarm.
Replace contaminated water trap filter.
Be careful not to allow water condensation
inside the unit.
Replace the pump.
