Data Settings
The Data Settings screen is available only if the terminal is configured for Sprint network communication.
Touch the “Provision” button, to initiate an auto-update of your Sprint Vision profile.PC5 Vision.
Version Information
The Version Information screen displays useful statistics for the CDMA WWAN Voice module including:
• RIL, SDK, USB, and OEM Aux Versions
• Modern HW, FW, and PRL Versions
• Boot Loader Version
• ESN number
• MEID number
Data Communication
You set up data communication using the Microsoft
®
Connections application.
Touch > Settings > Connections > Connections to access the Microsoft
Connections application.
System Requirements
• The WWAN radio must be enabled; see Enabling the WWAN Radio on page 8-3.
• If the terminal is configured for GSM/UTMS network communication, you must have an active SIM card
with a DATA plan installed; see Installing a SIM Card and/or Memory Card on page 3-17. The carrier
on the SIM card is the ISP.
• If the terminal is configured for CDMA network communication, you must have an active account with
a CDMA carrier that includes a DATA plan. The account is linked to the Mobile Equipment Identifier
(MEID) of the integrated WWAN radio.
Establishing Data Communication
1. Touch >Settings > Connections > Connections .
2. Under My ISP, touch Add a new modem connection.
