Confirmed alarm conditions work across multiple groups. Confirmed outputs (and channels
in DTMF format, option 56.1.01.1) activate after alarms across groups as long as both
groups concerned have been assigned to that output or channel.
DTMF Channel Output Mode [56.1.01.1.1.2]
Each output function defaults to a specific, logical output mode. However, the output mode
of each function can be modified to meet special requirements. When reprogrammed, the
new mode applies to all outputs assigned to that function. The output modes are:
1=Latch the output remains active until a valid code is entered.
2=Reflex the output follows the activity of the triggering event, for example, the Set
output follows the setting and unsetting of the group.
3=Pulse the output remains active for the programmed pulse time (1 to 3000 seconds).
To program the Output Mode:
1. Select the required mode.
2. Press ent to accept the programming.
3. If assigning the Pulse output mode, enter the pulse time and then press ent.
Note: The Output Mode status determines the operation of the channel restore. Press
to
modify the status when the channel details are displayed.
The status options are:
= Restore – channel sends restore code when reset.
+ = Open/close – channel reports setting/unsetting.
blank = Alarm only – channel signals alarm only (no restore signal transmitted).
DTMF Channel Output Polarity [56.1.01.1.1.3]
The Output Polarity determines the normal operational state of the output.
0=POS – channel activates when the output is triggered.
1=NEG – channel activates when the output is reset.
