The magnetic style automatic chain oiler has an adjustable spring clip that can alter
the flow of lubricant to the chain. At inspection, if there is evidence that the chain is
being over-lubricated, then reset the spring clip one notch to decrease the tension on
the spring. At inspection, if there is evidence that the chain is being under-lubricated,
then reset the spring clip one notch to increase the tension on the spring. Refer to
the label on the side of the mounting channel for adjustment instructions.
The initial recommended spring setting positions the peg in Notch #4. The minimum
oil flow is obtained with Notch #1, the maximum is Notch #8.
