4 Service and Repair
4.1 Introduction
Before performing any maintenance or lubrication services, follow the
Lockout/Tagout Procedure in the Safety Instructions chapter to ensure that the
equipment is safe to work on. Failure to follow these instructions may result in
serious personal injury and/or equipment damage.
This chapter contains instructions for performing maintenance and removing or
replacing various components on the Pallet Accuglide ZoneFlex Accumulation
Conveyor. There may be occasions when various mechanical components must be
replaced or repaired due to damage or wear. Only qualified maintenance specialists
should maintain the mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components.
Follow all safety precautions and lockout/tagout procedures when servicing and
repairing this or any conveyor.
