4.10 Replacing a ZoneFlex Module
1. Lockout/tagout all electric and pneumatic power to the conveyor.
2. Unplug the power/signal cord from the adjacent modules (four conductor cables with
micro-connector).
3. Remove the green 1/4-inch diameter tubing from the outlet ports on the module.
Remove the clear 1/2-inch diameter tubing main air supply lines from the module.
4. Unplug the photo-eye cables from the module.
5. Pull up to remove the mounting clip on the back side of the ZoneFlex module. It may
be necessary to unbolt the mounting bracket for access. The valve module can now
be removed.
6. To reinstall, insert the mounting tab for the new ZoneFlex module through the
mounting hole in the bracket and push the mounting clip onto the tab as shown in
the illustration below.
