9. Install the ribbon takeup core. Take up slack in the ribbon, making sure that the
ribbon surface is smooth and the ribbon is winding correctly. Turn the ribbon
turnplate until it clicks into place to secure the takeup ribbon core.
10. Lower the print and ribbon mechanism and press down until it locks into place.
11. Close the printer cover.
