DeflectorScraper.Thisplasticarmclearsany
excessbuildupoficeontheIceDeflectorasit
passesbytheIceDeflectorScraper.
TheIceDeflectorshouldnevertouchtheIce
DeflectorScraperortheBottomCasting.
IceBlade
The
IceBladeshatterstheiceformedonthe
EvaporatorfreezingsurfaceastheMainShaft
rotates.
Iceharvestingproblemsareoftencausedby
improperrefrigerationsettings.Adjustingthe
IceBladeshouldbealastresortafterallother
meanshavebeenexpended.
Theclearancebetweentheoutermosttipofthe
Ice
BladeandtheEvaporatorfreezingsurface
mustbebetween0.004”and0.006”.
Asetoffeelergaugesshouldbeusedto
determinethedistancebetweentheIceBlade
andtheEvaporator.
Alwayschecktheclearanc e ata minimumof6
pointsonthecircumferenceoftheEvaporator.
