1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 32).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover and rubber feet on page 32).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 34).
Remove the touchpad:
1. Remove the three Phillips M2.0.× 2.0 screws (1) that secure the touchpad bracket to the computer.
2. Remove the bracket from the computer (2).
3. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the touchpad module (1).
4. Remove the three Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screws (2) that secure the touchpad to the computer.
5. Remove the touchpad from the computer (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the touchpad.
