3. If you need to remove the fan insert, remove the three Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screws (1) that secure the
insert to the computer, and then remove the insert from the computer (2).
4. Discrete models: Remove the six Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screws (1) that secure the fan assembly to the
computer.
5. Disconnect the fan cable from the system board (2), and then remove the fan assembly from the
computer (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the fan or fan assembly.
