Correcting Typographical Errors
If
you
enter
an
incorrect
command,
the
HP
250
responds
with
an
error
message.
The
most
frequent
errors
are
typographical
in
nature.
In
order
to
correct
a
typographical
error,
use
the
display
editing
keys
described
in
the
"Keyboard"
section
of
this
manual.
If,
for
example,
you
had
typed
this
input:
Washington,
E.C.
_
and
had
wanted
to
type:
Washington,
D.C.
press
the
G::l.
or
G
key
until
the
cursor
moves
left
to
a
position
under
the
character
E.
Type
the
capital
letter
D
and
press
the
ENTER
key
to
enter
the
correct
data.
You
do
not
have
to
advance
the
cursor
to
the
end
of
the
line
in
order
to
enter
the
corrected
version.
If
you
had
typed
this:
