The Plot view provides a convenient way to find an
approximation to a solution instead of using the
Numeric view Solve option. See “Plotting to find
guesses” on page 7-7 for more information.
Solve aplet’s NUM view keys
The Solve aplet’s NUM view keys are:
Key Meaning
Copies the highlighted value to the
edit line for editing. Press when
done.
Displays a message about the
solution (see “Interpreting results” on
page 7-6).
Displays other pages of variables, if
any.
Displays the symbolic definition of the
current expression. Press when
done.
Finds a solution for the highlighted
variable, based on the values of the
other variables.
