STEP 5. Verify the Analyzer Operation
This step shows you how to check your analyzer for correct operation.
■ installed options
■ self-test
■ operator's check
■ transmission mode
■ reflection mode
NOTE The HP 8753E has a three-year warranty for repair at a
Hewlett-Packard facility. If the HP 8753E should fail any of the
following tests, call your local HP sales and service office. If repair is
necessary, send the analyzer to the nearest HP service center with a
description of any failed test and any error message. Ship the analyzer,
using the original or comparable anti-static packaging materials. A
table listing of Hewlett-Packard sales and service offices is provided at
the end of this guide.
