Description
Check that all the Modulation Ana-
lyzer’s HP-IB annunciators are
off.
Send the serial-poll-enable bus com-
mand (SPE) to place the Modula-
tion Analyzer in serial-poll mode.
On the Modulation Analyzer, key in
61.3
and then press the SPCL key.
The display should show
1
.O.
This
indicates the Modulation Analyzer is in
serial-poll mode (indicated by the
“1”).
Send the Abort message, re-
moving the Modulation Ana-
lyzer from serial-poll mode.
Check that the Modulation Ana-
lyzer’s display shows
0.0.
This in-
dicates the Modulation Analyzer
properly left serial-poll mode upon
receiving the Abort message.
