Fingerprint reader board (select products only)
To remove the ngerprint reader board, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing the ngerprint reader board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 21).
2. Remove the bottom cover (Bottom cover on page 21).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 23).
Remove the ngerprint reader board:
1. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the system board (1).
2. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screw (2) that secures the ngerprint reader bracket, and then remove
the bracket from the computer (3).
3. Remove the ngerprint reader board from the computer (4).
Reverse this procedure to install the ngerprint reader board.
Fan
