Display assembly panel
To remove the display panel from the bottom cover, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing thedisplay assembly panel, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 33)).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 33).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 34).
Remove the display assembly panel:
1. Remove the WLAN transparent cover (1), and then carefully disconnect the two antenna cables from the 
WLAN module (2).
NOTE: Computer models have either one or two WLAN antennas. On models with two antennas, the #1 
white WLAN antenna cable connects to the WLAN module #1 Main terminal. The #2 black WLAN antenna 
cable connects to the WLAN module #1 Aux terminal.
2. Disconnect the camera module cable (3) from the system board.
3. Disconnect the display panel cable (4) from the system board.
