Install the expansion board into the slot until it seats firmly.
7. Install the PCI riser board assembly (on page 25).
IMPORTANT: The server does not power up if the PCI riser board assembly is not seated
properly.
NOTE: The same procedures apply for installing an expansion board in PCI expansion slot 1.
8. Connect all internal or external cabling to the expansion boards.
9. Install the access panel (on page 22).
10. Slide the server into the rack.
11. Power up the server (on page 20).
Installing a PCI-X riser board
1. Power down the server (on page 20).
2. Extend the server from the rack (on page 20).
3. Remove the access panel (on page 22).
4. Remove the PCI riser board assembly (on page 24).
5. Remove all expansion boards, if installed.
