5. Remove the USB board from the computer (6).
Reverse this procedure to install the USB board.
Fingerprint reader board
To remove the ngerprint reader board, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing the ngerprint reader board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 40).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 40).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 41).
Remove the ngerprint reader board:
1. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screw (1) that secures the ngerprint reader bracket to the computer.
2. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the ngerprint reader board (2), and then remove the
bracket from the computer (3).
