3. Use a tool to release the module from the computer (3). The module is secured with adhesive.
Reverse this procedure to install the NFC module.

Before removing the fan, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 30).
2. Remove the bottom cover (Bottom cover on page 30).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 38).
Remove the fan assembly:
1. Disconnect the antenna cables from the WLAN module (1).
2. Remove the antenna cables from the clips on the side of the fan (2).
3. Disconnect the fan cable from the system board (3).
