8. Lift the side of the system board upward (1), and then pull the system board away from the connectors
on the side of the computer to remove it (2).
Reverse this procedure to install the system board.

Before removing the speakers, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 30).
2. Remove the bottom cover (Bottom cover on page 30).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 38).
4. Remove the system board (see System board on page 51).
Remove the speakers:
1. Remove the speaker cable from the tape that secures it to the computer chassis (1).
