2. Remove the board (2).
To install the lighting board, reverse this procedure.
Display subcomponents (without removing the display)
You can remove some display subcomponents without removing the entire display assembly from the
computer. To remove the bezel, display panel, and camera module, use these procedures and illustrations.

Before removing thedisplay subcomponents, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 36).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 36).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 37).
Remove the display subcomponents:
1. Open the computer and place it with the display sitting on the table and the keyboard positioned
vertically.
