Before removing the power/USB board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 32).
2. Place the computer in Battery Safe mode (Battery Safe mode on page 32).
3. Remove the bottom cover (Bottom cover on page 33).
4. Remove the battery (Battery on page 41).
Remove the power/USB board:
1. Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screws (1) that secure the thermal bracket to the computer.
2. Lift the bracket out of the computer (2).
3. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the power/USB board (1).
4. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screw (2) that secures the board to the computer.
