Serial port module
Follow these steps to remove the serial port module:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 20).
2. Remove the access panel (see Access panel on page 21).
3. Position the computer with the rear panel toward you.
4. Disconnect the serial port module cable (1) from the system board.
5. Remove the two 3/16” screwlocks (2) that secure the serial port module to the computer chassis.
6. Remove the serial port module (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the serial port module.
