6. Remove the access panel (Remove the access panel on page 25).
7. Remove the serial cable blank.
8. Connect the serial cable option, and then secure the cable with two T-10 screws. Then, remove the
backing from the double-sided tape and press down where indicated.
9. Install the access panel (Installing the access panel on page 25).
10. Install the server in the rack.
11. Connect each power cord to the server.
12. Connect each power cord to the power source.
13. Power up the server (Powering up the server on page 24).
