2. If you are installing an expansion card that is in a location with a slot cover installed, remove the
cover by pulling it straight up and away from the inside of the chassis.
3. If you are installing an expansion card that is wider than a single slot cover, remove the PCI rib by
removing the Phillips screw (1), and then lifting the rib out of the computer (2).
