1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 26).
2. Remove the access panel (see Access panel on page 29).
3. Remove the CPU/memory panel (see CPU/memory panel on page 32).
4. Remove the front fan (see Front fan on page 36).
5. Remove the drive/memory fan (see Memory fan on page 40).
6. Remove the PCIe retainer panel (see PCIe retainer panel on page 49).
7. Remove the front card guide and fan (see Front card guide and fan on page 51).
8. Remove the system board (see System board on page 54).
9. Remove the right side cover (see System board on page 31).
Remove the power distribution board:
1. Position the computer with the left side toward you.
2. Release all cables that are routed through the retention clip (1) that is built into the computer
chassis.
3. Carefully pass the following cables through their respective openings in the computer chassis:
(2) CPU1/memory power cables
(3) Graphics power cables
(4) Main board cable
(5) CPU0/memory power cable
4. Position the computer with the right side toward you.
5. Disconnect the power distribution board cable from the drive bay power/SATA cable (1).
6. Remove the four Torx15 screws (2) that secure the power distribution board to the computer
chassis.
