8) If the cutter is too far from the the tip of the original key, use a 5/64 inch allen wrench
to loosen the four set screws on the lower inside and bottom of the Pivot Arm
(CM-1024X) (see Fig. 2).
9) With a small rawhide or plastic mallet, lightly tap the inside of the Pivot Arm to move
the cutter closer to the top of the key while centering the cutter flat with the pin seat
(see Fig. 3).
10) Release the Emergency Stop Button. The Pivot Arm will return to the Home position.
Note: You may have to recalibrate the Shoulder Gauge after recalibrating the Tip Gauge.
