Procedure
Step 1 Wear an ESD wrist strap. Ensure that the ESD wrist strap is grounded and in a close contact
with your wrist.
Step 2 Remove cables from the card to be replaced, and record mappings between cables and
interfaces on the card to ensure correct cable connections on the new card.
Step 3 Remove the old card.
1. Loosen the captive screws on both sides of the card and rotate the ejector levers outward.
2. Lowly pull the card out of the slot along the guide rails.
Step 4 Install a new card.

l For details on how to install a card in an AR2240, AR2240C, AR3260, or AR3670

Step 5 Connect cables to the new card according to the recorded cable connections on the old card.

Follow-up Procedure
After replacing the card, collect all tools. If the replaced card is faulty, fill in the 9.7
Appendix G Fault Tag and send the faulty module with the Repair Transmission Sheet to the
equipment supplier or the specified repair service provider.
