4.10 How do I know whether my phone is using its mobile
data connection or a Wi-Fi connection to access the
Internet?
Once connected to a Wi-Fi network, your phone uses the Wi-Fi network to access the Internet.
The icon in the notification panel indicates that your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi
network.

3G network. How do I know which network I am using
for data services?
Once connected to a Wi-Fi network, your phone uses the Wi-Fi network for data services.
The icon indicates that a 3G network is connected and indicates that a Wi-Fi
network is connected.
