3 Setting Master/Slave Subracks
•The J2, J3, J4, J15, J16 jumpers can be set
to enable 32 states that represent decimal
values 0-31.
•The subrack ID is 0 by default. "0" indicates
the master subrack. The other values indicate
slave subracks. The bits from high to low are
J16-J2. As shown in the following figure, the
value represented by the J16 - J2 jumpers is
00001, which is 1 in decimal system. That is,
the subrack ID is 1.
•For details on the principle for configuring the
master and slave subracks, see “Master-
Slave Subrack” in the Product Description.
•Changing the subrack ID may interrupt services.
•The J14, J17, and J18 jumpers must be set as
specified in the figure.
