The OptiX RTN 600 also supports PDH microwave networking. In this case, the
SNCP protection mechanism can also be applied.
5.6 Hybrid Networking
In this networking mode, the OptiX RTN 600 and optical transmission systems form a
ring network.
Figure 5-8 shows an STM-1 hybrid network. The ring adopts the SNCP protection
mechanism. The OptiX RTN 600 adopts 1+0 configuration.
