Installation is the same for Luminette
®
Modern Draperies
as it is for Luminette Privacy Sheers — except drapery
products may require a few extra steps.
Steam the Fabric
■ With the drapery closed, steam along the full length
of the fabric, one column at a time.
■ Draw the Modern Draperies so that the fabric is
stacked.
■ Start at the top and steam along the full length of
the fabric, one column at a time.
Tie Back the Fabric
When you tie back the fabric after steaming, you are
reshaping the fabric’s memory.
■ Using kraft or a similar paper, tie back each stack at
the bottom.
■ Tape the paper to hold it in place overnight.
Important: Allow the steamed fabric to dry in
this configuration overnight.
■ Carefully remove the paper the next day.
