5.21.2 To assemble the oil pump
1. Lubricate the parts.
2. Steer the hose through the hole in the crankcase.
Pull it out with your fingers or round nose pliers.
3. Put the hose in the groove on the external side of
the crankcase.
4. Assemble the chain guide plate.
5. Put the cylinder and the lubrication shaft in the hole
in the hose. Put the components in the crankcase.
6. Assemble the oil pump cover.

9. Fill with chain oil.

5.22.1 To disassemble components of the chain
tensioner 536Li XP/535i XP
1. Disassemble the drive wheel cover, saw chain and
guide bar.

2. Remove the screws and remove the cover.
3. Remove the the chain tensioner and adjustment
screw from the drive wheel cover.

1. Put the chain tensioner components in the drive
wheel cover.
2. Attach the cover.
3. Assemble the drive wheel cover, saw chain and
guide bar. See
