B. Ignition switch
Trouble shooting the ignition switch
The pins that are to make contact with each other in
the respective modes are marked with a cross (X).
Measure the resistance between the pins with an
ohmmeter. The resistance may not exceed 0.5 .
Resistance between the other pins is to be more
than 1000 .
Dismantling
1. Fold the engine hood forward.
2. Remove the cable connector by pulling it from
the ignition switch.
3. Remove the rubber cap (2).
4. Remove the nut (1), and pull out the ignition
switch at the back of the instrument panel.
Mounting
1. Insert the ignition switch at the back of the
instrument panel, and fit it with the nut (1).
2. Fit the rubber cap (2) in position.
3. Push on the cable connector.
