Relays K1 and K2
Relay K1 is fitted above K2 underneath the fuel
tank.
Trouble shooting relays K1 and K2
The pins that are to make contact with each other in
the respective modes are marked with a cross (X).
Measure the resistance between the pins with an
ohmmeter.
Deactivated
When the relay is deactivated, the resistance
between pin 30 and 87a is to be less than 0.5 .
The resistance between pin 85 and 86 is to be
between 70–100 . Between the other pins the
resistance is to be greater than 1000 .
Activated
When the relay is activated, the resistance between
pin 30 and 87 is to be less than 0.5 . The
resistance between pin 85 and 86 is to be between
70–100 . Between the other pins the resistance is
to be greater than 1000 .
Dismantling
1. Fold the engine hood forward.
2. Remove the fuel tank.
3. Unplug the connector from the relay.
4. Unscrew the screw (1) one turn and push the
relay to the right for removal.
Mounting
1. Secure the relay with the screw (1).
2. Plug the cable connector to the relay.
