Changing the drive belt of the
cutting unit
Dismantling
1. Hook off the tension spring (1) that is connected
to the bracket (2) of the idler pulley.
2. Remove the drive belt from the cutting unit and
the electric clutch.
Mounting
1. Fit the drive belt on the belt pulleys and the
electric clutch.
2. Hook the tension spring (1) on the bracket (2) of
the idler pulley.
3. Ensure that the drive belt is properly stretched.

Changing the electric clutch
Dismantling
1. Remove the drive belt from the cutting unit. (See
above.)
2. Disconnect the two cables from the upper right
side of the clutch.
3. Unscrew the screw (3) to release the clutch from
the chassis.
4. With a large adjustable wrench, hold the hub (1)
of the clutch and remove the centre screw (2) of
the clutch.
5. Pull the clutch down.
Mounting
1. Move the clutch up on the engine shaft.
2. Make certain that the engine belt pulley is up in
its correct position.
3. With a large adjustable wrench, hold the hub (1)
of the clutch and fit the centre screw (2) of the
clutch with a tightening torque of 25 Nm.
4. Secure the clutch in position on the chassis with
the screw (3).
5. Connect the two cables on the upper right side
of the clutch.
6. Fit the drive belt on the cutting unit. (See
above.)
