POWER TRANSMISSION

Rear plate
Dismantling
1. Remove the six screws (1).
CAUTION
When removing the rear plate, make
certain that cables to the microswitch (3)
are disconnected before lifting off the
plate.
2. Remove the eight screws (2).
3. Disconnect the cable terminals of microswitch
(3) before lifting off the plate.
Changing the transmission drive belt
Dismantling
WARNING
The riding mower may never be lifted
more than 50 cm from a level position
unless the following precautions are
taken:
1. Drain fuel from the engine and
run the engine until the carburettor is
dry.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Drain oil from the crankcase.
1. Block up the tractor. (See page 3)
2. Remove the drive belt from the cutting unit. (See
page 62)
3. Remove the electric clutch. (See page 62)
CAUTION
When the belt pulley (1) is released, the
engine belt pulley can fall down.
4. Release the idler pulley (1).
